Sam Smith wants to collab with Rihanna
It is no secret that Sam Smith is a huge fan of Rihanna. Over the years, he mentioned her multiple times while constantly revealing the wish to work with her. Talking to Sirius XM Hits 1 he repeated his own words once again: “My ultimate person in the whole entire world to ever make a song with would be Rihanna.”
He even added that he’s more excited about the Super Bowl than his own album. In 2021, Smith told Rolling Stone magazine that her 2011 hit single “We Found Love” changed his life: “I was so inspired and hyped up. […] I basically tried to recreate the video.”
He even name-dropped Rihanna in his current number one single “Unholy” with German singer Kim Petras. The latter sings “and he, he get me Prada, get me Miu Miu like Rihanna” in the second verse of the song.
