French Montana releases Rihanna inspired single “Fenty”
French Montana just released his new song “Fenty” in collaboration with NAV. The song off of his upcoming studio album “Coke Boys 6” is named after Rihanna’s family name. Both rappers boast about their jewelry, which they compare to Fenty. While it’s unclear whether they reference Rihanna herself or one of her brands, her fans have mixed feelings about the song’s lyrics.
While some highlight Rihanna as “the best muse there is”, others express that the 37-year-old rapper “should have scrapped this”.
