Rihanna's "Lift Me Up" debuts #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, dated Nov 12, 2022

Rihanna’s highest solo lead debut of all time! “Lift Me Up” debuts #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, dated Nov 12. Only “Love The Way You Lie” debuted this high in 2010, so this is major for Rihanna’s own discography.

As FentyStats points out, this is also the highest debut for a female soundtrack song since Taylor Swift released “Today Was A Fairytale” more than ten years ago. Even though this is Rihanna’s first lead song since “ANTI” released in January 2016, it is worth to mention that “Lift Me Up” is actually a song produced for a movie. As press confirms, another song titled “Born Again” would soon be released apart from the official “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.

Meanwhile, the song also debuts #1 on the Single Charts in Switzerland and the US Radio Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Check out “Lift Me Up’s” other debut positions from the rest of the world below:
